As a child 'fire flies' captivated me..
Chased many of them .. and most escaped me,
Those childhood memories are fresh in me, still;
Here's one of those, happy to be captured,by me
சிறு வயதில் மின்மினி பூச்சிகளை கண்டு லயித்து அதனை பிடிக்க பின்னால் ஓடித் திரிந்த காலங்கள்,
இன்றும் என்னில் பசுமையாக உள்ளது.
பிடித்த பூச்சிகளில் இதுவும் ஒன்று.
All you have said are true and common....for ages....in the case of Paandavar of Mahabaaratham, we are told, Thirowpathai (spelling may be haywire - but pls ignore that)was happily living with the "five" brothers. Historians tell us, as a result of research, the community around that area in the northern India, suffered a dearth of females and thereby devised this method of marriage compelled by economic and biological reasons. My humble and considered opinion, if it is worth anything to the author of this blog, is to branch out into the proposed "kuddaan" business, before we lose the chance of reading and adding our comments due to passage of time and, the natural order of nature, "old age"!!!
